shoegaze with a southern heart and rock n' roll hands.
This is a drawing I did for Jeremy Cowart. Jeremy is a mad-crazy-talented photographer out of Nashville. Definitely check him out.

Only one man knows how to fly this conglomeration of switches, buttons, keys and wires. His name is, of course, Matt Stanfield. This fun little piece of typographic art will serve as the header for his new blog site we're designing. Soon as it's up, we'll post a link to the finished product.
here's a free handset font i developed for a couple specific projects a while back. it was one
of those days when i really couldn't find exactly what i was looking for so i just decided to make it. it's a bit tech and a bit folksy. like bob dylan in the eighties. it's "oh mercy."
i've made "oh mercy" available for download here as an eps file. again, it's handset so it can get tedious if you've got lots of type, but hey...it's free.
This is a follow up post from a few weeks back. I was commissioned to create a series of pages for a graphic novel project whose goal was to tell the same story that Michelangelo's seven panels tell in the Sistine Chapel. A number of amazing artists were involved, and the printed novel should be published later this year. I chose to create my part of the story very simply, using typography and geometric shapes. These panels were printed out at large poster size. I'll be posting photos of the actual exhibit soon.
